Who operates this website
0Confusion Consultancy B.V. is the controller for the website and business enquiries. Address: Poortweg 4A (Whitepark), 2612 PA Delft, Netherlands. Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 98008196. For enquiries or privacy requests, contact info@0confusion.com or call +31 15 202 44 66.
Contact through this website
You can use the enquiry form, a direct email link or our phone number. The form sends your answers to our mailbox. They are not kept in a database on the website, and you won't receive an automatic email. A direct email link opens your own email application, and you decide what to include and whether to send it. Please don't send passwords, access credentials or customer records.
Information we use and why
When you contact us, your message may include your name, email address, organisation, phone number, your question and any information you choose to provide. We use relevant information to respond, discuss a service and keep track of that enquiry. You may omit unnecessary details, but without a reply address or enough context we may be unable to answer. An enquiry doesn't subscribe you to a newsletter or promotional mailing list.
Legal basis
We process contact details to draw up quotations on request and to perform agreements. These details are needed to handle your enquiry or assignment. Where you deal with us personally, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: the steps you ask for before a contract, and the contract itself. Where you contact us on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in handling that enquiry or assignment under Article 6(1)(f). The visit count and technical logs described below rest on our legitimate interest in running and protecting this website, also under Article 6(1)(f). We don't treat reading this notice or sending an enquiry as consent to unrelated processing.
Who may receive information
Information is accessible to people authorised to handle your enquiry and to the providers of our email and hosting, as needed for those services. Visionhost B.V. hosts this website and handles email for 0confusion.nl. Google Workspace manages our business email on 0confusion.com, including info@0confusion.com, the mailbox that receives the enquiry form. Your own email provider also processes email you send. We may disclose information when a legal obligation requires it.
International transfers
Our business email on 0confusion.com is managed through Google Workspace. This can involve processing of personal data outside the EU. You can ask us at info@0confusion.com which safeguards apply.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiries and the related correspondence for no longer than one year after the enquiry or assignment has been completed. If a legal obligation requires us to keep certain records for longer, such as bookkeeping records, we keep those records for as long as that obligation applies. Unnecessary attachments and information aren't kept just because we received them.
Website operation
The website keeps a simple count of page visits on its own server: the page, the referring page, the time, and a code derived from your IP address and the date, which changes every day. These counts aren't shared with anyone and aren't used to recognise you, and only the latest 3,000 visits are kept in this detail. The website doesn't include advertising trackers, third-party analytics, embedded calendars or chat widgets. Fonts, the logo and decorative assets are served with the website. The site doesn't set cookies. Visionhost B.V. processes IP addresses and technical request logs to operate and protect the website, and keeps them only as long as that requires.
No automatic security testing
Opening this website or sending an enquiry doesn't start a scan or authorise security testing. Any assessment requires a separately agreed scope and permission.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies in the circumstances defined by the GDPR. If a future activity relies on consent, that consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights are not absolute and relevant exceptions may apply.
Send a request to info@0confusion.com. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Don't send identification documents in the initial email. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Automated decisions and cookies
This website doesn't make automated decisions about you, profile visitors or include marketing subscriptions. It doesn't set analytics or advertising cookies. If we ever add tracking that needs your consent, it stays off until you agree, and refusing it won't stop you sending an enquiry.
